Paris, TN – As developments continue surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we’re here to ensure you that the health and welfare of our employees, customers and community is a priority. In light of the most recent CDC recommendation to avoid gatherings in groups of more than 10, BPU is requesting our customers minimize use of the BPU main lobby.
Should you still need to visit our main lobby, please know you may experience longer than usual wait times. In an effort to protect our employees and ensure sustainability of our workforce through this pandemic, BPU is reducing and rotating our office staff in accordance with CDC recommendations.
We are committed to providing our customers with a variety of payment options to meet their needs during these unprecedented times.
MyBPU allows customers to view/pay their bill online and is available on both your desktop and mobile devices. For the desktop version visit https://parisbpu.smarthub.coop/Login.html or download the MyBPU from the AppStore of Google Play.
Customers can also have their monthly BPU payment automatically deducted from their checking or savings account on the working day before the due date. This is a free service and customers can sign up in the MyBPU App.
Additionally, BPU has an outdoor kiosk/drop box (located downtown outside the main office) and four other drop box locations for those wishing to limit face-to-face contact with others. Drop box payments are collected daily at the following locations:
• Kroger
• Walmart
• Lakeway IGA
• Cash Savers
Customers also have the option of paying through the drive-through at one of the following local banks:
• Commercial Bank (all local locations)
• First Bank (all local locations)
• Security Bank (all local locations)
• Foundation Bank (all local locations)
If paying at one of the local banks, please make sure you take your BPU bill with you. Also, please note, they cannot accept late payments.
As always, customers have the option of mailing their utility payment to BPU. With each billing statement we provide a return envelope. Please be sure to allow ample time for your payment to arrive to avoid any late fees that apply after your due date.
We are diligently monitoring the developments of the virus in accordance with the CDC and will continue to keep the health of our customers, employees and communities at the forefront. We are available to assist you if you need us, as always. If you should need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to call us at 731-642-1322.
