“Meagan is to be congratulated for this well-deserved honor,” said Terry Wimberley, Paris BPU President & CEO. “She continues to help shed a positive light on Paris BPU within our own community as well as draw positive attention to us from across the Tennessee Valley. Meagan’s skills and abilities are a great asset to our utility.”
This is TVA’s first Communicator of the Year Award and honors the Local Power Company who has shown great success and enthusiasm in communicating the value of TVA EnergyRight programs and services to the Valley through one or more communication channels. “Paris BPU is in the forefront of bridging the gap between the new social media age and utility sector,” said Shana Woods, TVA Program Manager-Commercial Energy Solutions. “With the leadership of Meagan Hart, Paris BPU has been very innovative in communicating all things electricity and knows how to have a little fun too.”
