A little about our history
The Paris Board of Public Utilities was created in 1938 to serve electricity to all of Henry County and to provide water and wastewater service to the citizens of Paris, TN. Owned by the city, we are governed by an independent board appointed by the mayor and approved by the full commission. In 1954, sanitation sewer service was offered to the City of Paris.
Owned by the citizens we serve, we offer low, non-profit, rates reflecting our mission of quality customer service. We continue to explore new ideas to improve our performance and add value to our service.
